  • Device type, operating system, browser type and version
  • IP address and approximate geographic location derived from it

3. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Review your application and evaluate fit for the Stake Studio program
  • Contact you about your application and schedule intro calls
  • Communicate with you if we enter into a partnership
  • Send you communications about Stake Studio, including program updates and related offerings

  • Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your pitch, business idea, or proprietary information to develop our own competing ventures. Confidentiality is governed by Section 5 of our Terms of Service.

4. How we share your information

We share information only with the following categories of recipients:

  • Customer relationship and form-handling tools. We use GoHighLevel (CRM) to receive and manage applications. Information you submit through our forms is stored in this system.
  • Advertising and analytics providers. We use Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and (where applicable) LinkedIn advertising tools to measure ad performance. These providers may receive hashed identifiers (such as a hashed version of your email) and your IP address. We use enhanced conversion tracking to attribute ad spend to outcomes.
  • Email and communication providers. We may use providers like Resend to send communications related to your application.
  • Our staff and contractors. People who work for Stake Studio or Scalable Marketing may access your information to do their job.
  • Co-investors and partners. If we proceed with a partnership, we may share limited information with co-investors, advisors, or partners who are bound by confidentiality, only as needed to evaluate or operate the partnership.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share data for advertising attribution purposes; under some state privacy laws this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and you can opt out as described in Section 8.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics, advertising attribution, and to remember your preferences. The cookies we set include:

  • First-party attribution cookies (names prefixed stake_) that store UTM parameters and ad click IDs so we can attribute conversions to the ad you clicked.
  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics cookies used to measure site traffic and behavior.
  • Google Ads and (where applicable) LinkedIn cookies used for ad conversion measurement and remarketing.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may impact site functionality.

6. How long we keep your information

We retain application data for as long as we have a business reason to keep it (typically up to seven years to comply with tax and accounting obligations), unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings.

7. Security

We use industry-standard administrative and technical measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet.

8. Your rights and choices
